Annual Report


CET College of Nursing started in the year 2011, with first batch students for the academic year, 2011. The Inauguration function was held on 10, November, 2011 and the Dean of Medical College Asaripallam, Nagercoil was the chief Guest of the day. Regular theory classes were taken by Nursing and External Faculty. Students receive individual attention from the faculty. First year students underwent clinical posting in Morris Matthias, Bensam hospital and Krishna Kumar orthopedics hospital, Nagercoil. Periodical examinations and Sessional examination were conducted to improve the student’s proficiency. Our students were member of Students Nurses Association (SNA) and actively participate in all SNA activities. Our College provides students Loan and Scholarship for the financially backward students.

 Cultural programme was conducted once in every once in 6 months

 We have campus ground which is used for outdoor games

 Tree plantation- our students, faculty and staffs planted 1,500 plants to create awareness about Global Warming.

 Nurses Day (May, 2014) celebration held in our campus students and faculty participated in various programmes conducted on that day.

 One day picnic was arranged for the first batch students.


Various activities have been conducted by our B.Sc Nursing students. The activities were carried out under the guidance of faculty of CET College of Nursing. The activities were listed below

CET College of Nursing Management and Principal have taken special efforts for the development of staffs. To update their knowledge staffs were permitted to attend various workshops, seminars and conferences conducted by other college of nursing. In-service education committee plan and organize monthly staffs training programmes. Journal presentations were held once in a month. These activities motivate and encourage our staffs to learn and update their knowledge. Other benefits such as maternity leave, food, and transportation were provided for the staffs.
